Stephanie
Stephanie is a lively young individual. She has been a sports enthusiast and an environmental activist well into her younger ages even before joining her bachelor’s a program in university. Through her music, she actively participated in youth forums such as The African Artists Peace Initiative (AAPI) as well as the African youth initiative based on Climate Change (AfriYOCC) and also actively participated in Action Aid campaigns. She graduated from The Catholic university of Eastern Africa(Nairobi) with a BA with honors in economics and political sciences. With her diverse sports background, she was a swimming coach for 2years at The Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah University in Nairobi and even joined the Rongai Athletics Club pursuing long distance running. She is truly a jack of all traits and very diverse in thinking. She took up boxing in January 2020 with Nicholas Abaka and has since then been part and parcel of the King Abaka boxing foundation taking the role of donor and financial manager. She is currently working at Arifu as a Business Development Associate, nonetheless she still sets time aside to help Coach Abaka build the King Abaka Boxing foundation. She interacts very well with children and is very motivated to provide equal opportunities for all kids in tough living circumstances and give them hope that there is a better tomorrow, but it all starts with each person playing their part.
